Speaker – Niamh McInally: My Creative Practice
Niamh will join us to go through her creative process. She is a recent graduate. (BA (Hons) Photography). She is a portrait photographer based in Glasgow, who has a particular interest in documenting the value of humanity.
“Community, friendship and youth are all prevalent themes in my photographic work. I am fascinated with people and intrigued to know their stories, so visual story telling offers me that opportunity to learn more”.
Niamh’s presentation will be based on her studies and the beginning of her career in photography (i.e. her creative practice). Niamh also has experience in many group exhibitions and knowledge of some of the great opportunities within the creative industry in Scotland. Niamh will bring her photobooks for us to look through for visual research, as well as various different cameras to examine; such as a Super 8 cine camera and a medium format camera.
